I've been a bad blogger.
I have nothing mind boggling to report, except that I watched the finale of America's Got Talent and the girl who played the ukulele and sang kind of like a cross between Tiny Tim and Joni Mitchell, who I said I didn't really get why everyone was so crazy over her, ended up winning the million dollars. What do I know anyway? ( And yes, that was a horribly put together, ridiculously long sentence.)
I've heard about America's got talent. But they just copy us every chance they get.
ReplyDeleteI thought Gracie was very cute, talented...will go far . But honestly I think adults should win that show. I can't see a little girl doing a life time Vegas act. Too weird. Hope you have been having a nice fall so far. It will officially be fall in6 days...but it did cool down here for a few days...so nice after our very hot summer. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteFor sure, she was as cute as a button. I just thought the other vocalists had more skill, that's all. Our fall has been lovely. Right now it is a little cool first thing in the morning, but nice and warm in the afternoon, then cooling off in the evening again.
DeleteI love the show - I kinda missed Howard Stern this year, but Simon did okay. But I have ask, why and what was Nick wearing on his head at the finale - He looked like Aladdin! :-) But I am totally with you about Grace VanderWaal. There were better acts, and I was cheering for Linkin' Bridge, because their story just got to me, and they're from near where I'm from in Kentucky.
ReplyDeleteI never even watched it until this year. Ha, you are so right about Nick looking like Aladdin!! I really liked Linkin' Bridge as well (and many other acts as well). I would love to know how The Clairvoyants did their acts.
DeleteI told you I didn't like her either!
ReplyDeleteTape Face broke me up!
I wanted the magician to win...
I laughed every time they put Nick Cannon's face on...ridiculous!
Enjoy your last Summer weekend...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Oh yes, here in the Uk we do sometimes wonder how someone quite ordinary wins a talent contest.
ReplyDeleteI love long sentences. Stephen King carried one for a page and a half in Pet Cemetery.
