Reading List 2022

Janet Evanovich - Game On  Tempting Twenty-Eight  (4/5)  This is another one of Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. A quick read, with all the predictable bits, but still fun.

Jonathan Kellerman - The Museum of Desire   (?) Read it a while ago, can't remember much about it. Kellerman is someone I've read most of his books, they are fine, nothing too cerebral, just murder mysteries.

Kate Ellis - Death Season  (4/5) This is a new author to me. I really enjoyed it and plan on reading more. A Brit mystery with a good dose of archaeology thrown in!

Harry Bingham - Talking to the Dead (4.5/5) So good. This is a DC Fiona Griffiths mystery, a bit out of order, as I've read many others but could never get ahold of this one.

Delia Owens - Where the Crawdads Sing  (3/5) this wasn’t my choice, but was given to me. It was fine, didn’t change my life. A bit too “wrapped up” at the end

Ann Cleeves - The Rising Tide  ( 4.5/5) I always love Ann Cleeves.

Elly Griffiths- The Locked Room (4.5/5) I just never get disappointed with this series.

Richard Osman - The Bullet that Missed ( 4/5) I liked his first two of this series and I like this one. Fun reading with a mystery as well.

Elizabeth George - Something to Hide  (4.5/5). I love George’s big thick books featuring Inspector Lynley, but this was a tough one. It involved the topic of FGM, about which I knew a little bit, but now I know more and have even looked further into it. It’s an uncomfortable book but it kept me reading until I was done.
