Times are different now that we have a 16 and 20 year old. Nobody wakes us up at 6:30 in the morning to open presents. It is now 8:50 a.m. and so far it's just Scooter and I. I'm drinking coffee and he's playing with his jingly ball. I may have to wake everyone up myself!

ReplyDeleteI used to think I would miss the early mornings with my kids. Part of me does but now I am enjoying a bit of a sleep in and a fun conversation over cups of coffee with my kids.

ReplyDeleteWe didn't have any kids this year. Instead, we spent a couple of day in Montreal visiting everyone. It was so much fun but it's also nice to be back home!
