Here are some whiskery pictures of Samson (son did not want his face in my blog) and a sleepy Scooter cooling off on a leather couch.

Lovely babies.
ReplyDeleteThey can be.
DeleteDo you know that key lime pie won the top baker award for one of the weeks, on The Great British Bake Off. I must say it is one of my favorites. Many people say that American pies are too sweet, such as peanut butter pie and pecan pie. I was listening to Dispatch to a Friend, from Australia and the one girl owns a Pecan Farm and when looking for pecan recipes she just came up with American ones, too sweet, so opted for Walnut pie and recipes from Italy and other places that are not so sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh trust me, I have no issue with things being too sweet!
DeleteI wish I could be like Scooter today. Woke three different times last night with bad leg cramps. And I didn't do anything yesterday that should have caused them. Move over, Scooter.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Maybe what I need is a piece of your key lime pie . . . ??
Just throwing this out there, maybe it's time for bananas and milk? (magnesium combined with calcium). Or maybe you just garden too much. Or maybe you need some key lime pie.
DeleteThat is a big cat - not the biggest, but big never the less.
ReplyDeleteSamson - the tabby? I think it's just how my son has him propped up like he's sitting in a lounge chair. Neither one is really big, especially Scooter without a tail!
DeleteGorgeous felines!
ReplyDeleteI tell Samson he is a handsome boy. Scooter is just weird.
DeleteSuch cute kitties - they look just as spoiled as my pups!!
ReplyDeleteMy son has been known to pull up a chair to the table for Samson to sit on.
DeleteYes! Save me a piece of that pie - it's my favorite! Cats can curl up in the most adorable fashion, can't they? When I first read the title of this post, I thought it was Whiskey Wednesday. I was only slightly disappointed that it was about cats... :)
ReplyDeleteHow does one pick a favourite pie? I'm sorry to disappoint with the title of this post. Wine Wednesday would be more likely for me.
DeleteYummmmy. I could go for a piece of that. Wish I cooked but alas I do not.
ReplyDeletePampered puss cats, they are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour son certainly planned that shot well! That pie should be about done by now...and we're ready for supper. Great timing! :) Drooling from afar...
ReplyDeletelooking forward to the recipe (and a photo) of the key lime pie. There was a recipe of a lemon and lime cake in the newspaper today so my mouth was already ready for something tart!
ReplyDeleteHaha...your son looks like a cat! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose are fine looking cats. Please tell them I said so. 🐈
ReplyDeleteThe cats are looking good -- especially for the summer heat! Key lime sounds GREAT!
ReplyDeleteCats certainly know how to relax! Ours seem to hideaway all day and reappear in the cool of the evening.
ReplyDeleteI made those burgers! They're good! And I miss having a cat or two around here. With four dogs now I worry they'd fight. One of mine is cat aggressive.
ReplyDeleteI love the cat and the way your son hid his face. How precious!!
ReplyDeleteCats really know how to sleep, don't they? LOL
ReplyDeleteThey are both cute. Samson looks slightly annoyed, as cats often do! HAHA
such lovely kitties. I'd say yes to pie if my hips weren't saying no!
ReplyDelete... Mary-Lou =^..^=
