Happy Canada Day

I'm sharing some funny bits with you, because as a Canadian, I'm allowed to make fun of myself and my country. Honestly, though, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Also, we don't all play or love hockey, just so you know.

We are polite, and we do apologize a lot. I don't know why. Sorry.

  2. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world either...ESPECIALLY now!! So grateful for our country; for our medical, our Governments, our people, our food, our customs, our scenery, our education, I could go on and on!!!
    Happy Canada Day !!!!

  3. Since I live so close to the Canadian border here in Minnie-soda, could I qualify as a teenie-tiny bit Canadian? Our relatives in the lower States tell us we have a Canadian accent. Can you believe that, eh?

Happy, happy Canada Day to you and yours!!

    1. Canadian accents vary depending on the province you are from. Your "accent" would be like a Westerner (Saskatchewan, for example).

  5. We are definitely uber polite...it's a common dilemma when entering or leaving a building. It takes a long time because we all insist the othe person go first.

  6. Yesterday was a record=breaking 35C here in T.O. and today seemed even hotter. The weather man is predicting it will be the hottest Canada Day in Ottawa since 1943! Also glad to be a Canadian.

  9. I love this! I do think Canadians are polite, very gentle and thoughtful. I've been to Vancouver, I dated a Canuck in my twenties, and Montreal. I love the little take on 'if a tree falls in the woods...' Fun post and happy Canada Day!
