No way!!! That's not just a little snow flurry either! Darn climate change. I thought our temps these last few days were unusually low. Nothing like yours
Although I live in a suburb, we also have a family of foxes living on the street. They live under one of my neighbour's decks. The fox parents also have four kits although I haven't had the pleasure of seeing them yet. Mum and dad fox don't have a shy bone in their bodies and one or the other of them will sometimes sit at the end of my driveway for a few minutes and watch me putter in my garden. Every neighbour I've spoken to so far seems delighted with their presence. We've all noticed a bit of a decline in the rabbit population but that's to be expected. I've also read foxes almost never attack cats but chickens would make a delicious dinner, I'm sure.
Just flurries here, but other parts of West Virginia got a god bit. So so sorry about the flowers. We had the same thing happen to ours several weeks back.
Ha ha - great minds thinking alike. I feel your pain. ... Mary-Lou =^[..]^=
ReplyDelete"O Canada, our home and native land . . . ."
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope the sun melts the snow quickly. We got heavy rain and wind last night. My daffodils in the less sheltered places were battered.
ReplyDeleteHee-hee! We got more than you did . . . said in a sing-songy voice! ;o)
ReplyDeleteAmen- Snow here, too, but our daffodils haven't raised even a green shoot yet. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteHad to respond… this isn’t climate change. This is just Canada. We have frequently had snow in April, even in May.
Deletewe got it too and that is just NH but our Daffodils have not bloomed yet.

ReplyDeleteDitto here. Looks pretty much like that!
ReplyDeleteYuck! Old man winter is sure trying to tell us who is boss. We're expecting a bit more this week too. Hopefully spring arrives in earnest next week.
ReplyDeleteWe had snow here too. It didn't stick but it's so cold, I worry for them.
ReplyDeleteMy God - what a day.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite the surprise to wake to this morning.
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to wonder if spring will ever arrive. We have another snow event arriving this weekend to give us even more snow.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I second the motion - couldn't believe it last night - it looked like a Winter wonderland outside my kitchen window! Enough already!
ReplyDeleteRIP dear daffodils.
ReplyDeleteIt was the same here! But at least it melted right away. My tulips were rising at the time and I'm sure they weren't happy about the weather!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. Though down here in South Dakota my daffodils are just breaking the soil.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind winter; in fact there are aspects of it that I thoroughly enjoy, but in April it's cruel!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem fair; enough with the winter weather for my northern friends!
